The rapids of the Rupert River are, to say the least, absolutely awesome.

To get a sense of the massive scale of these rapids, observe the size of the full grown trees on the land. Also keep in mind that the water going down these rapids isn't only a few inches deep. It is many feet deep. A better understanding of the size of these rapids will be seen when you get to the pages featuring the trail along the north shore of the river.

  

The Rupert River splits to go around an island. The main rapids are on the left side.
